Nearly £500 has been raised to help support the family of a two-year-old Islander who is undergoing cancer treatment - but more money is needed.

Charity Kezi's Kindness is holding a cake and coffee morning in Newport until 3pm today (Friday).

The aim is to raise funds for two-year-old Victoria Pugmire, who is undergoing treatment in London and in Southampton.

Since the beginning of the month (1), the charity has been raffling Christmas presents, including Nintendo Switch's, a laptop, and vouchers.

A total of £472 has been raised so far.

Kezi's Kindness was set-up after six-year-old Keziah Flux-Edmonds died in 2016. The charity's aim is to raise funds for children who "need a little help to make them smile".

The coffee morning will also celebrate Keziah's 11th birthday.

It is being held at 30 Highfield Road, Newport. Social distancing measures are in place.

You can donate to the cause on paypal via [email protected].
