Free Activity Spaces For Children This February Half Term

A range of activities which also provide a nutritious meal are on offer during the February half term.

Free places are available for children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals and on a paid-for basis as well.

Places are also available for children and young people on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), those open to social care, or with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Cllr Debbie Andre, cabinet member for children's services, said:

“Many families struggle financially during the school holidays — coping with the increased costs of food and childcare, while perhaps living off a reduced income.

"This scheme exists to support these households, while offering children new opportunities and experiences they may not have otherwise been able to access.”
