Firefighters are tackling a fire in the open in Ryde this afternoon (Wednesday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service says it was called to Upton Road at around 1.35pm.
According to the fire service, a "small" fire has broken out in a field .
One appliance from Ryde is at the incident.
