A tree - which had stood tall at Ryde's Canoe Lake for decades - has come crashing down this morning (Friday).
The Scot's Pine is said to have been in position at North Walk for more than 100 years.

A part of the footpath is currently blocked by the fall. The tree has been cordoned off, while it awaits removal.
Island Roads has been asked for a comment.
