Firefighters have been called to reports of a kitchen fire in Shanklin today (Monday).
Crews were called to Victoria Court on Salem Road shortly after midday.
The alarm was raised after burning food triggered a fire alarm inside the property.
Two fire appliances from Shanklin and Newport were called ot the scene.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the incident has now drawn to a close.
No-one has been injured.
