Fears for a missing person prompted a call out for police and WightSAR last night (Friday).
Isle of Wight Radio understands police units were called to Firestone Copse car park at around 9pm.
Volunteers from the Island's search and rescue team, WightSAR were called to assist.
It's understood the person was found safe and well at 10.20pm.
Hampshire Constabulary is expected to provide an update later.
