The death of a woman in her 80s led to medical and police teams being called to a Shanklin home on Christmas Day (Wednesday).
The emergency services were called to Victoria Avenue at around 9.30am.
A forensic team was later called to the scene to investigate.
Police have subsequently confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The woman’s next of kin have been notified.
