The Cowes floating bridge is suspended once again — this time because of staff sickness.
The service, which returned to service last month (April), is off from 2pm to 8pm.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Council said:
"It is with regret the Cowes Floating Bridge will be suspended today (23 May 2022) between 14.00hrs and 20.00hrs due to unexpected staff sickness.
"A launch service will be in operation for foot passengers and cyclists.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause."
