Court Appearance For Man Charged With Isle Of Wight Kidnap And Burglary Offences

A man charged with two counts of kidnap - and a string of burglaries - has had his case sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.

Kazm Saed of no fixed address, appeared before magistrates this morning (Monday).

He stood accused of the following:

  • two counts of aggravated burglary,
  • two counts of robbery,
  • two counts of kidnap,
  • one count of burglary and
  • two counts of possessing a bladed article in a public place. 

Police are investigating incidents at Newport's industrial estate, and Whitcombe Road. 

A police helicopter circled the skies on the outskirts of Newport last Thursday (3).

He's due in court on July 12.
