The Isle of Wight has seen its biggest daily increase in coronavirus cases so far this month (November).
23 cases have been recorded on the Island today (Thursday).
According to official figures, it takes the Island's total - since the pandemic started - to 793.
138 of those positive tests have been registered in the first 11 days of November.
Yesterday (Wednesday), Isle of Wight Radio revealed that a further two coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded at St Mary's Hospital.
A second national lockdown is now in force. It means pubs, restaurants and most shops should remain shut for four weeks.

The Isle of Wight Council is advising us to follow the government guidelines: hands, face, space.
- Wash your hands often and for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser regularly.
- Wear a face-covering where appropriate.
- Keep space from other people; 2 metres or at least 1 metre apart.
If you or someone you know, displays any symptoms, no matter how mild, the council is urging you to get a free test by calling 119 or visiting NHS.uk
The council has also produced a self-isolation toolkit to help people prepare to self-isolate if they need to.
