Coronavirus Impact Leads To Fears For Future Of Amazon World

There are fears for the future of Amazon World as the coronavirus pandemic continues to devastate Island businesses, charities and attractions.

The family attraction was forced to close its doors last week, due to Government restrictions.

And now the Arreton based site has said there are real fears for its future.

Amazon World has cited a lack of income in the last four months for the doubts over its survival. At this rate, bosses have said it could close permanently by Easter next year.

The attraction has approached the Government for financial support, but is hoping kind-hearted Islanders will come forward with food and monetary donations.
