The firm is repairing a collapsed sewer that it has been fixing since Janurary, as previously reported by Isle of Wight Radio.
It first appeared on Sunday 17 Janurary - and has only got wider and deeper.
Southern Water has previously said says the mains sewer below the surface is the cause.
Extra fencing has been erected along the seafront.
Public access for pedestrians is only past Ryde Rescue's station at the moment.
Public access is for pedestrians only past our station atm as @SouthernWater are repairing the collapsed sewer. Our shop is still open if you are passing. #SupportingLocalCharities #indylb #RydeBeach #IsleofWight pic.twitter.com/SF189MbejM
