Briddlesford Road near Wootton is closed both ways for emergency works.
The route is shut between Park Road and Blacklands Lane.
It is to allow Southern Gas Networks (SGN) to carry out emergency gas repairs.
A signed diversion is available via Whiterails Rd, Staplers Rd and Long Lane.
SGN says the repairs are likely to continue throughout the week.
Briddlesford Farm remains open, despite the closure.
