A body has been discovered on a beach in Ryde today (Wednesday).
Police and paramedics are currently on scene.
It's understood the discovery was made near to a slipway in St Thomas' Street.

*A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:
“We were called at 7.48am this morning (Wednesday) following the discovery of a man’s body in the water off St Thomas Street.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.”
