A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital yesterday (Wednesday) following a crash in Brighstone.
Police were called shortly before 1pm to reports of a collision between a black Toyota Aygo and a white Honda motorbike on Military Road.
The rider of the bike, a man in his 30s, was subsequently taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
Officers remained on scene dealing with the incident for several hours.
