Bembridge Kitchen To Host Tea Party Fashion Show For Dementia UK Appeal

Bembridge's Beach Hut Seafood Bar & Kitchen will host an ‘Island Living’ themed fashion show in aid of the Dementia UK Admiral Nurses Appeal.

Selected retailers on the Island have donated fashion items to be auctioned on the day by Ron Holland.

Those donating outfits are Bayliss & Booth, MIA, The Old Smithy, Visual Impact, Sugar & Spice, Bellissima, My Funky Bags, Rapanui, Mint & Wight and Marks & Spencer.

Each outfit will be accessorised with items donated to WOW/Wight Dash, with the help of chair Lyndsay Hart, and when those items are sold, the money will go to that charity.

Personal stylist, Nicola Dyke, founder of All About the Outfit, will compere the event.

Lady Grylls said:

“This unique event gives such crucial support to family and carers living through the journey of dementia.

“Numbers are limited, so please apply for your tickets early to avoid disappointment. And come and join us with friends to enjoy fellowship and fun and elegance on the seafront.”

Accompanied by a high tea and Mermaid gin cocktails, tickets for Saturday June 11 cost £15 and are available from Alison Child on 840179 or by emailing [email protected].
