Arrest Made After Tools 'Stolen' In Ryde Burglary

An Isle of Wight man has been arrested following a burglary in Ryde.

A 32-year-old detained on suspicion of burglary, theft, fraud by false representation and possession of a controlled drug of class B has been released under investigation.

Hampshire Constabulary says tools, including a drill, were stolen - and then believed sold - from an address in Lower Highland Road.

The incident is said to have happened at some point between 30 and 31 May.

Enquiries are ongoing, according to police
