Appeal To Locate Man With Connections To The Isle Of Wight

Police are appealing for information to locate a man who has connections to the Isle of Wight.

Andrew John Wood, 31, is wanted on recall to prison for failing to comply with his licence conditions.

Officers have carried out extensive enquiries to locate him and are now asking the public for assistance.

Andrew - who is from Fareham - has connections to the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton, as well as the Hackney area of London. As such, we are asking people in these areas to share our appeals to trace him.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, medium build with short dark hair.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:

"If you have seen him, or know where he is, do not approach him, but 999, quoting 44220151155.

"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

"We would like to remind people that anyone found to be harbouring Andrew to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves."
