Another Rise In Isle Of Wight Coronavirus Cases

There has been another rise in positive coronavirus cases on the Isle of Wight.

According to the latest Public Health England figures released today (Saturday), there have been 86 new cases.

Yesterday, 65 were recorded.

There has been a total of 7,380 cases since the pandemic began last year.

The Island’s rolling rate per 100,000 people is now 117.8 - but remains well below the overall UK rolling rate of 359.2.

Meanwhile, a walk-in vaccine clinic has been introduced at The Riverside Centre, Newport for those aged over 18, who are yet to have either their first or second dose of a jab.
