Age UK Isle Of Wight's Powder Run Returns

Age UK Isle of Wight is calling for fundraisers of all ages to take on its family friendly colour obstacle course this September.

The event returns for 2021, giving participants the chance to get covered in colour for charity. r

It takes place at Porchfield Cricket Club on Saturday September 24, from 2pm.

Running alongside The Powder Run will be a fun day.

Organisers are promising dogs shows with ‘Barking Mad’, funfair games, bouncy castle, bake sale, bbq, bar, stalls and much more.

The fun day is free entry, free parking and offers fun for the whole family.

Elisha Leachman, Age UKIW’s Fundraising Manager, said:

“We are so excited for this year’s Powder Run! Our colour course is going to be brighter than ever, we offer traditional old school obstacles inclusive for all ages and abilities, and we hope you will join us in running (or walking!) through our rainbow of powder whilst helping to raise some much-needed funds your local charity.

"Every penny we raise stays on the Island, and will help Age UK Isle of Wight to support our older Island residents.”

Entry to The Powder Run is £10 for Adults, £5 for Children (13 or under) and small additional sponsorship is welcomed.

You can register at ageukiw.org.uk or on Facebook @AgeUKIW.
