24 Years On: Renewed Appeal To Find Isle Of Wight's Damien Nettles

24 years on from the disappearance of Islander Damien Nettles, there are renewed appeals for information to help find him.

Damien was just 16 when he went missing in Cowes on November 2 1996, following a night out.

In the years since then, five men and a woman were arrested but were later released without charge.

Posting on her blog, Damien's mum Valerie Nettles said:

"In the past year I was on and off anti-depressants.  If they could change the root of my sadness they would be a bloody miracle. So I am off them and find a clarity in thoughts again.

"The only thing that could possibly help is Damien being given back to us in whatever form that might take.  We need to bring him home to rest.  It’s all we ever want."

Group Locate International is appealing for new information, which could help locate Damien.
