New Signing At Old Trafford — Manchester United Employ Trophy Polisher

Despite not securing any first team signings during the January transfer window, Manchester United did manage to complete one new acquisition.

Following an extensive search, the Red Devils added a Curatorial Assistant to their ranks, with one of the new employee's key roles to polish trophies.

The club's most recent trophy came in 2017 when they won the Europa League.

Despite the five year wait to add to their collection, the Old Trafford club boast an impressive 42 major trophies, ensuring the new addition will have his hands full.

But it isn't all shining up silverware, with the job only being made available to those educated to degree level with a postgraduate qualification in Museum Studies.

Manchester United are second only to Liverpool in terms of trophies won, with the latter having nipped ahead with 43 following a successful few years under Jurgen Klopp.
