Seaview Hotel Put Up For Sale After More Than Two Decades Under Current Owners

One of the Isle of Wight's best-known hotels has been put on the market after more than 20 years under the same ownership.

The Seaview Hotel, located in the heart of Seaview village just moments from the seafront, is being offered for sale through leisure property specialists Fleurets with a guide price of £3 million.

The independent hotel features 24 individually designed guest rooms, a two-bedroom cottage, an award-winning restaurant, coffee lounge, bistro and traditional bar.

Its Aquitania restaurant has held two AA Rosettes for the past five years, while the hotel itself has received national recognition and numerous awards over the last decade.

The current owners say they are proud of what has been achieved during their 23 years at the helm but believe the time is right to hand the business over to new owners.

In a statement, the team said:

"We are proud of what we have achieved over the last 23 years of ownership. However, we feel that now is the time to pass the baton to new owners."

Nick Earee, Divisional Director at Fleurets South, said he has known the hotel for more than 50 years and originally sold it to the current owners in 2003.

He described the business as a rare example of an independent coastal hotel in one of the Island's most desirable and affluent villages.

The freehold interest in the hotel is being marketed with a guide price of £3 million.
