Red Funnel has suspended its vehicle ferry service between East Cowes and Southampton because of dense fog.
The operator says visibility has fallen below the limits set by Cowes Harbour.
The service has been suspended until further notice.
The Red Jet high-speed passenger service continues to operate as normal.
Red Funnel says it apologises for the disruption and will provide further updates when conditions improve and the vehicle ferries can safely resume.
