Isle of Wight Chamber To Appoint New Chief Executive

The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce will appoint a new Chief Executive later this year as Rob Johnson prepares to step down from the role.

Mr Johnson will officially hand over leadership at the Isle of Wight Chamber Awards on September 11, after overseeing a period of growth in membership engagement and strategic partnerships.

The Chamber says it is entering a new phase that requires dedicated full-time leadership to deliver its long-term strategy, with the Board of Directors having already identified a successor.

Mr Johnson said he was proud to have led the organisation during a period of significant change and believes it is well placed for the future.

The Chamber has reaffirmed its commitment to remaining an independent organisation representing Isle of Wight businesses while continuing to work with regional and national partners to create opportunities for members.
