Island Comedian Jack Clay To Support Award-Winning Headliner In Southsea

An Isle of Wight comedian is set to perform alongside an award-winning stand-up as part of a special comedy night in Southsea next month.

Jack Clay, an autistic comedian from the Island, will be one of the support acts for comedian Sunjai Arif's show, Dungeons and Dragons with Sunjai Arif, at The Fox in Southsea on Wednesday 1 July.

The interactive comedy show is based around the popular role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons and is designed to appeal to both newcomers and long-time fans of the fantasy genre.

Speaking ahead of the event, Jack said:

"I'm excited to be supporting Sunjai Arif at his show in Portsmouth on Wednesday 1 July.

"I've always wanted to be the opening act at The Fox in Southsea and feel one step closer to headlining there one day."

The evening will also feature a performance from Hampshire comedian Duncan Adam before Sunjai Arif takes to the stage for his hour-long show.

Sunjai's latest production combines stand-up comedy, improvisation and audience participation, with the crowd helping to shape the story as it unfolds.

The show begins at 8pm, with doors opening at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £9, with a limited number of early bird tickets available in advance.
