Win Tickets To The Island Steam Fair 2024
The Isle of Wight Steam Fair is back for 2024 and we've got a set of FOUR tickets up for grabs to this brilliant event over August bank holiday weekend!
Now in its 49th year, the Island Steam Fair is back for another action-packed year. It’s the bank holiday event on the Island with bundles of fun and explosive acts in the main arena. Enjoy a fabulous collection of vintage transport, traditional fairground, live entertainment, plus steam trains running on the line.
At the heart of our show are the mighty steam traction engines. See a fabulous collection of road rollers, showman's engines and miniatures - these former workhorses make a fabulous sight, particularly when they steam around the main arena.
The main arena is the place to go for action-packed entertainment. With a busy programme throughout the day, there's lots to keep everyone in the family enthralled - see main arena programme here...
The traction engines and historic vehicles like to get involved too, while the famous traction engine games sees them compete in a series of games and challenges!
Explore the fairground, where the gallopers are a big hit with all ages, whilst little ones will be kept busy with traditional games such as coconut shys and hook the duck. Refuel at one of the on-site refreshments kiosks or cool down with an ice cream, there’s even a bar with a great selection of real ales.
Discover a rich variety of vintage cars, military and commercial vehicles, motorbikes and tractors. They have all been lovingly cared for and restored by their owners who take great pride in exhibiting their pride and joy. Wander around the show field to find your favourite, and watch as they make an appearance in the main arena.
Then, head across to the Music Stage for a great selection of live music between midday and 4pm.
Plus, the Train Story Discovery Centre will be open with its collection of locomotives and carriages spanning 150 years of Isle of Wight railway history.
And of course, don't miss your ride behind a range of magnificent steam locomotives. Settle back in Edwardian and Victorian carriages for an hour's ride through the Isle of Wight countryside!
To win this lovely prize, all you need to do is enter our random draw below - we'll then select a winner at random following the closing date!
