A man has been savaged by a shark in Florida - just days after two other people were attacked in the same area.
Martin County officials say a bull shark repeatedly bit the man on the arm in the attack on Thursday afternoon at Jensen beach.
Authorities said the man's injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Lifeguards had earlier called swimmers and surfers out of the water - on two separate occasions - after sharks were spotted off the Florida coast.
Beachgoers waited about 30 minutes before returning to the water.
The attack is the latest in a spate of similar incidents.
Bull sharks are notorious for their aggressive and unpredictable behaviour.
On Wednesday, two teenagers had a lucky escape after being attacked within minutes of each other while surfing off New Smyrna beach.
A boy and girl, both 17, suffered bite wounds in the attack, Volusia County Beach Patrol said.
While earlier this month in Brevard County, a man was bitten while swimming on the Canaveral national seashore.
