  The studios of IWR were as packed as they've ever been on a Saturday night as hot radio man of the moment Russell Brand arrived to present his evening R2 show.

It seems the girls just can't get enough of loveable zany Russ, many arriving clutching their booky wooks for the big man to autograph and dedicate.  Also joining in were David Icke, The High Sheriff, and Council Chairman Roger Mazillius.  Our own Jessie James was pushing the buttons as resident technical expert, (don't ask him about getting Noel Gallagher on the phone thou, he had some difficulty getting an outside line!) R2 now know what we at IWR have to put up with.  Poor jess had a Meridian Dave style facial sweat on as he tried and tried but failed live on the National airwaves.

Highlight of the night, at ten o clock Russell hooked up R2, IWR and the network as the Alex Dyke soul show was invaded by Russell..  This was probably as unlawful as a typical party political donation but without question a good time was had by all.  Quite what the listeners made of it is anyone's guess!
