MOTORIST DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL
Wednesday, February 10th 2010 07:39

A motorist who suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on the outskirts of Ryde just three weeks ago has been discharged from hospital.
Wayne Child had to be cut free from his Toyota MR2 after it came off the road at Smallbrook Lane on January 18th.
His silver car hit a barrier and a tree, as he drove towards Great Preston Road.
He was initially treated at St Mary's Hospital but was later transferred to the neurological unit at Southampton General Hospital. His condition there had been described as "critical".
But, the 28-year-old was discharged from hospital on Monday this week.
