One of the two new owners of Bembridge Harbour has been explaining why he bought the location, ahead of a public meeting.

Malcolm Thorpe and wife Fiona bought the harbour and a surrounding 200 acres and they are keen to involve the local community in its regeneration. Dredging is among the first jobs being planned for the location which currently has over 650 moorings and four pontoons. On Tuesday, a meeting will be held at Bembridge Village Hall to reveal more about the couple's plans to improve the site. It gets underway at 6pm.
