The Isle of Wight's hosepipe ban is to be lifted tomorrow (Friday), Isle of Wight Radio has been told.
Southern Water imposed the ban in the first week of August, citing 'water levels dropping' amid soaring temperatures.
It's understood it will no longer be in force from tomorrow.
It's claimed the 'temporary use ban' has helped to save 11 million litres of water.
Although it's thought a drought risk still remains, customers in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight won't have to restrict water use outside their homes.
Isle of Wight Radio has sought clarification from Southern Water.
