Islanders Invited To Take Part In Charity Fire Walk For St Catherine’s

Islanders are being invited to step out of their comfort zone to take part in a charity fire walk next month.

The sponsored firewalking event at St Catherine’s Speech and Language School on Saturday  June 8 will see participants given the opportunity to raise funds for the school, which supports children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.

The event will feature expert guidance from Scott Bell, twice Guinness World Record holder for the greatest distance walked on fire and founder of
UK Firewalk.

From motivational talks to team-building exercises, attendees will receive comprehensive training and support every step of the way, ensuring their safety and well-being.

"We are thrilled to bring this unique event to the Isle of Wight; said Scott.

"Firewalking is a powerful experience that challenges perceptions and unlocks untapped potential.

"It is about pushing boundaries and discovering what's possible when we confront our fears head-on."

For details of the event and to sign up, contact Tanya Smith, Fundraising and Marketing Assistant at St Catherine’s on [email protected] or 852722.
