So it's here.  After months of work we are pleased to be able to let you have a first look at the new iwradio.co.uk.  We are in Beta mode so we are testing the features and looking for any kinks that need to be ironed out, so have a good look around and if you spot something that's not quite right or have a great idea we would love your input.  The whole site has been designed and coded on the Isle of Wight by the team at we3create and special thanks go to Pete, who has worked so hard to get us this far.

The new site has been designed around news and information delivery, from audio, video and text.  You will find many new features such as Listen Again, which allows you to hear every Isle of Wight Today, the latest news bulletin and some of the best bits from the programming team at the touch of a button. Other features include news alerts which let you know about the latest, breaking news wherever you are on the site, a much easier way to comment on the stories in the news via Facebook and other social media, a new photo gallery and one of the most comprehensive guides to what's on on the Isle of Wight, The Guide.  And, we would like you to become an Isle of Wight Radio Virtual Journalist; you tell us about the news from where you are, send us your photos, audio and video and of course get a credit (if you want one).  We even have a new page for missing pets.

This is just the first stage of the new site and over the next few weeks and months, we will launch many new innovative features and exciting news for mobile and tablet users. So please take a look around and do send us your feedback or fill out the form below. We hope you enjoy the new site and make it your home page.
