Isle of Wight Radio are proud to team up with Rob Da Bank's Music Club and the Isle of Wight Youth Trust to offer a new dimension to the Club!

Isle of Wight Radio are offering bands and DJ's the opportunity to be recorded and broadcast as part of the Live and Local sessions on Sunday evenings - and it doesn't stop there!
Music club regulars will host and present the sessions live from the Quay, and in turn will be the hosts and presenters of the Sessions as part of Live and Local!
Tune in each Sunday to Live and Local on Isle of Wight Radio from 7pm, and listen to the Live Sessions each month!
TUESDAY April 30th at QUAY ARTS in NEWPORT 5:00-7:00pm
13–18 year olds only - FREE ENTRY
WE'RE MAKING A MUSIC VIDEO!
Ever wanted to make a music video? Now’s your chance! For the next few months, we'll be working together to create a music video for a band signed to Rob’s own Sunday Best record label..
We'll be revealing the band and the track at this month’s Music Club. In the meantime, we want you to film or create something around the theme of "What the Isle of Wight means to me."
Film it on absolutely anything at all; your mobile phone, your iPod, a video camera, your digital camera. Maybe you'd like to do a time lapse with some stills, maybe you'd like to make a stop motion animation. We'll use WHATEVER you give us, photos, paintings, cartoons, animations, clips, sketches, films, doodles animations. The only catch is, it needs to be created by you, and needs to show the world what the Island means to you. We'll need your entries by the end of June's Music Club. Get creative folks. Can't wait to see what you come up with...
This month’s Muaic Club sees Emmy J Mac & Buddy Carson return with their amazing Stand Up For Lyricism Workshop: so Singers, Writers, Rappers, Spoken Word artistes, if you've got something to say and want to be heard, they will be putting together a performance for the radio-session so bring any words you have (or just your voice).
NEWS FLASH! After the amazing show of talent at the Live Sessions in 2012 we are continuing with Live Performances at each Club from 6.30 – 7pm - recorded for Isle Of Wight Radio
Students will run the visuals and lighting too – and compere and present too YES YOU! – All recorded for Isle of Radio of course and we are also filming and streaming this and last years’ sessions on Bestival.tv

Rob da Bank says: “My Music Club is the place to be on the Isle of Wight if you want to get into music – it’s that simple. Be there!”
The Isle of Wight Youth Trust has been around for a long time (nearly 30 years!) offering counselling, advice and support to young people on the Island. We’ve always been happy to help any project that benefits young people in any way or encourages them to ‘get involved’ in positive activities, and this is where working with the Bestival team on Rob Da Bank’s Music Club comes in!
The Youth Trust are proud and privileged to be part of such a great club, a club that helps young people explore the various avenues of making music and the music industry. And, what’s more, it’s a really friendly club too, which is why we enjoy working on it so much!
So, come along, meet people, learn something, enjoy yourself and say hello to anyone who looks too old to be there - they’re probably from the Isle of Wight Youth Trust!
