Topping and Heathers Round the Island Challenge for Gracie May

It's one of the biggest challenges so far...two totally novice sailors, one instructor - and one of the biggest races in the world – Topping and McCallum do round the Island....hopefully!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, following some hard sailing round the back of the Island, the rudder on their boat broke! Whilst they made it another 20 miles, by the time they had rounded Bembridge Ledge, it was deemed too unsafe to continue - so, just 4 miles from the finish line, they were towed back to Cowes...

A devasted Paul, Heather, Phil and Carol made it back to Cowes, where they continued fund rasing - and vowed to complete the challenge!

And now, all four will be setting off back around the Island - thank you for everything you have given so far - and please don't stop donating to fund - you can do so below!
