October 1st saw the Island Go Yellow in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice! Last year, over £15000 was raised by the sheer generosity of Islanders - and this year looks set to be just as successful!
The fund raising started the night before as the Newchurch singers raised the roof and the Black Cat Blues Club collected donation in Newport.
The Isle of Wight Radio team started the morning with a car wash, there were yellow ice creams for donations, yellow fairies braved the rain... businesses across the Island lent their support to this worthwhile cause.
