Isle of Wight Radio have teamed up with 3 of the Island's TOP live music venues to give Island musical talent a chance to play and be paid...Through a series of live heats hosted by Isle of Wight Radio and a grand final, you could be chosen and Win The Gig at The Dairymans Daughter, The Steamer Inn or The Bargemans Rest!
Simply upload an mp3 of your music - either an original song or a cover version, - or drop a CD to us here at the station.We will select the acts to go through to the live heats -
If you are selected to go through, each act will perform a 20 minute set to include covers, one original and one cover version of a song as selected by the judges - to be performed in your style (e.g. a rap song in a folk band style) You will of course be
given plenty of notice to prepare your song!On the night of the heats, a PA and back line (drums, amps etc) will be provided!
