The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of severe weather over the Isle of Wight.
Forecasters are warning of heavy rain that will move north across the Isle of Wight during Tuesday night, followed by heavy and locally thundery downpours for Wednesday.
The rain will be accompanied by strong and gusty southeasterly winds of up to 50 - 60 mph along exposed south facing coasts.
The Met Office says "the public should be aware that heavy rain may lead to localised surface water flooding and poor driving conditions".
