Flat Fire In Ryde

Firefighters are attending a small fire at a flat in Ryde.

Crews were called to 49 Arthur Street just after 1pm today (Thursday).

Police are also at the scene.

According to a spokesperson from Surrey Fire and Rescue service "firefighters led an elderly female away from the flat who was suffering from smoke inhalation and requested an ambulance"
