A 1977 Silver Jubilee photo will be recreated in Cowes on Sunday, by the daughter of the organiser of the street party at which it was taken.
To mark the Diamond Jubilee, Cowes Town Councillor Lora Peacey-Wilcox is hoping to recreate the 1977 photo with as many original faces as possible.
Call to Isle of Wight families
She is calling on members of the Peacey, Arnold, Colebrook, Barrett, Appell and Barnett families, plus many others, to join her in her efforts to revisit the moment in time.
Huge party
In 1977, Lora's mum Mary held a huge street party to celebrate, inviting more than 200 people. Lora was roped in to make some of the decorations.
On Sunday, Lora is organising a new photo to be taken at St Faith's Church in Cowes, from 12-2pm.
