Queueing for fuel in Lake.
Pace Petroleum are warning Island drivers not panic buy petrol.
The company, which provides the majority of Island fuel, has told Isle of Wight Radio that 750,000 litres of fuel is due to be shipped to it's East Cowes terminal tomorrow (Friday 30th March)
Company Secretary David Hathaway explains that the majority of the Island's fuel is delivered by ship directly from south coast terminal and so won't be affected by the threatened national tanker driver strike.
When the fuel arrives in East Cowes it's then distributed around the Island by Pace and Vectis Oils.
Mr Hathaway told Isle of Wight Radio that the Pace drivers have indicated that they won't be taking part in any industrial action here even if there is a national strike.
Isle of Wight Radio is awaiting a response from Vectis Oils.
Tesco superstore in Ryde is not supplied by either company.
