5000 Panel Solar Farm Planned

5000 Panel Solar Farm Planned

A large scale solar farm is being planned for Shalfleet on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight Radio can reveal the plans, by Lightsource Renewable Energy limited, are for 5000 solar panels to be installed on land at Stables Farm on Warlands Lane in Shalfleet.

If approved, the farm would produce enough electricity to power around 450 homes.
