Police are appealing for anyone who has information about a missing Ryde man.

25-year-old Sam Perkis, of Pell Lane, Ryde, was last seen on Sunday morning.

His mum Debbi Lewis told Isle of Wight Radio Sam is 6ft, with dark hair and hazel coloured eyes.

He drives a British racing green coloured Rover 214.

He was last seen wearing a purple polo top, blue jacket, black jeans and black trainers.

Police said that they are in contact with family, friends and work colleagues while pursuing several lines of enquiry.

They added that it is believed Sam is still on the Island.

Anyone with information should call Ryde Police Station on 101.
