Man charged after cars damaged

A Sandown man has been charged with drink-driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

Police were called to Sandown Road in Shanklin at 11:34pm on Sunday. 

Three vehicles, a white Toyota Previa, silver Peugeot 406 and a grey Ford Fiesta parked on the road were damaged.

Police have charged Kai Spencer, 39, of Newport Road, Sandown. He has been bailed to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on November 6.
