Cars Collide At Flooded Forest Road

Two cars have collided in water on Forest Road this morning (Wednesday).

Police are diverting traffic via Whitehouse Road and Colemans Lane.

Highways are closing the area affected.

A police spokesperson explains that ine vehicle had become stuck in the water when the collision took place.

No one was reported to be seriously injured.

BUSES: All route 7 buses are diverting from Shalfleet via Elm Lane to Calbourne.

UPDATE 08.23: Forest Road has now re-opened.
