'36 hours' of heavy rain forecast

By Emma Philo Tue, 02 October 2012 1:11PM

More heavy rain is being forecast for a 36-hour period at the end of this week.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather alert for the South East, including the Isle of Wight.

It could lead to localised flooding.

The warning is valid between Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

But the weather organisation stresses that there is still uncertainty about how much of the area will be affected.
