Leaves cause road flooding

Leaves cause road flooding Thanks to IW Radio Virtual Journalist Charles from Ventnor
By Emma Philo Thu, 27 September 2012 12:22PM

Highways officers from the Isle of Wight Council were called to a flooded Ventnor road on Thursday morning.

Undercliff Drive, near the entrance to Ventnor Botanic Garden, became submerged in water following the recent downpours.

According to an IW Council spokesperson, leaves were cleared from the drains and the water quickly subsided.
