White Van Collision In Sandown

Police are appealing for witnesses to identify a motorist and vehicle after a collision in Sandown on the Isle of Wight.
 
A white van was seen to collide with three unattended parked vehicles in Albert Road before it’s alleged the driver left without stopping at around 6pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012. The van was seen being driven away towards Victoria Road
 
The three parked cars, a Ford Escort, a Toyota Estima and a Rover 214, received extensive damage.
 
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Peni Houghton of the Isle of Wight Roads Policing Unit at Shanklin police station by phoning 101. Information can be given anonymously by phoning the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111. Mini-com users should contact 01962 875000.
