Yachtswoman stars in rail campaign

Yachtswoman stars in rail campaign
By Isle of Wight Radio Reporter Wed, 19 September 2012 12:04PM

A yachtswoman from Shorwell is featuring in a national recruitment campaign.

Beulah Steele, who took part in the Clipper 11-12 Round the World Yacht Race, will appear in hundreds of posters in mainland railway stations across the country.

Beulah, who is currently working abroad, said: "I am absolutely thrilled and very proud to feature in the campaign.

"It definitely emphasises the fact people from all walks of life, all age groups and even those without sailing experience can be trained to achieve and participate in the most incredible and exciting life changing experience.

"I hope my small example as depicted in the campaign will help to inspire others.

"I'm amazed and surprised at the response so far."
